Round three, the last weekend of May at MSC Elstorf: on the roughly 1.5 kilometre track, Crown MX takes two day podiums. Ben Krämer takes pole and wins the first race, Cedric Keil and Dirk Strahlendorf stand on the podium in third – and Cedric extends his MX1 lead.
Ben: pole, race win, a duel to the flag
In the 85 class, nobody can touch Ben Krämer in qualifying: he secures the best gate pick by more than three seconds. He brings the first race home without a mistake and wins ahead of Enrik Hoffmann. In the second race Hoffmann gets the better start; Ben stays with him the whole way – and misses out by 1.3 seconds. Second on the day, 47 points and still leading the championship.

Cedric stays in the lead
37 riders line up at the MX1 gate. Cedric Keil starts from row five, finishes fifth in the first race and shows what he can do in the second: strong start, leading in the early laps, second at the flag. That means third on the day behind Philip Jürgensen and Paul Neunzling, and 47 NMX points. After three rounds Cedric leads with 147 points.
Cedric von Baath (17th/11th) and Charlie Dahlmann (23rd/12th) have more of a fight in the big field but collect important points. Charlie is third overall, Cedric von Baath fifth.
Dirk back on the podium
In Seniors S50, Dirk Strahlendorf remains Michael Pietsch's closest challenger. He's second behind Pietsch in race one and fourth in race two – third on the day and still second in the championship.
Saskia Kröger finishes ninth and eleventh in the Women's class and holds seventh in the standings. In MX2 and the 65s, Dustin Heise and Jano Boensch score more championship points. Katharina Schultz didn't race in Elstorf and drops to third in the Women's standings for now.

There's not much time to catch our breath: just one week later it continues in Malente. Thanks to all partners, helpers and families who made this weekend possible.
