Second stop in the NMX-Cup, this time together with the Niedersachsen-Cup at MSG Sulinger Land: Crown MX takes two day wins and two second places. Ben Krämer wins the 85s with two race wins, Dirk Strahlendorf takes the day win in the Seniors class. Katharina Schultz and Cedric Keil both finish second.
Ben and Dirk on top
Ben Krämer remains the benchmark in the 85s: two races, two wins, 50 points. Dirk Strahlendorf follows up in Seniors S50: after third on the day in Albersdorf, he wins the first race in Sulingen, finishes second in the next and takes the day win.
Katharina on a par with Elena Kapsamer
In the Women's class, Katharina Schultz has a real duel with Austrian Elena Kapsamer, who races the WMX World Championship and is the reigning European runner-up. Katharina wins the first race, Kapsamer the second. Both end the day on 47 points; the second race decides it in Kapsamer's favour.
Kapsamer doesn't count in the NMX standings: Katharina gets the full 50 points and leads with 100 points after two rounds.
MX1: Cedric consistent, Charlie jumps to second
In MX1 Open, Cedric Keil is fastest in practice again and finishes second twice more, this time behind Ben Gosepath. With P4 and P6, Charlie Dahlmann finishes fourth on the day and jumps to second in the championship. On Saturday he also races MX2 and finishes ninth. Cedric von Baath is seventh in MX1.

Not everything went to plan
Dustin Heise struggled with exhaust problems and lost important points: P15 in MX2, and he wasn't classified in the second MX1 race. Jano Boensch rode to P10 in the first Schoolboys 65 race but slid off in the second and dropped to P19.
Coaching from ex-pros
In Sulingen, Crown MX had two experienced hands at the fence: Michael Kartenberg (Kartenberg MX School) and Enrico Jache. Kartenberg raced as a pro until 2018 and now coaches worldwide; Jache raced the German Championship and the ADAC MX Masters.

Outlook
After two rounds, Cedric, Katharina and Ben lead their classes, Dirk and Charlie are second. Next up is Elstorf at the end of May. Thanks to Michael Kartenberg and Enrico Jache for the coaching and to all partners who made the weekend possible.
